Wax Works
These are not
encaustic paintings -- Scott's new wax art actually consists of
watercolor and candle wax. He's giving a whole new meaning to
the term “brush-fire,” since the candles actually have to be
burning for him to be able to use the wax.

Blown Paintings
Also featured in this
section are some of the “blown paintings” he’s done,
wherein he uses a straw to literally blow the paint
where he wants it to go. He doesn't do as many of the
latter type of painting -- while it’s easier on his
brushes, it’s really hard on his lungs!
